This has similarly led to many people utilizing technology to learn second/foreign languages. Nevertheless, many current computer-assisted language learning (CALL) programs still appear to be lacking in interactivity and what is termed social presence, which is in turn an obstacle to the learners assuming active roles in their online experience of L2 learning. Consequently, the existing CALL programs do not seem to have updated themselves from the obsolete behavioristic and communicative genres to reach for the integrative one to yield optimum interactivity. The present study has attempted to cast light on the prospect of creating an online learning community that could optimize the patterns of interaction among the students and the teacher with the intention of creating online social presence. Using a qualitative research based on grounded theory, the researchers attempted to collect and analyze the data vis-à-vis the participants’ feedback on the research questions that were cyclically obtained from 42 English students of the first researcher’s weblog through 41 semi-structured interviews at the end of each virtual class on Skype and Discord over one year. The results suggested that content-based instruction (CBI) in which the students can opt for and create the content of the course through engaging in asynchronous activities and performing peer-assessment in the comment forms and discussion boards before practicing negotiation of meaning in each synchronous class could maximize the level of student-student interactivity and social presence among the L2 learners.}, keywords = {social presence,peer-assessment,negotiation of meaning,content-based instruction}, title_fa = {ارزیابی گروهی و مباحثه معنایی خودجوش در بین زبان‌آموزان: دو عنصر ایجاد حس حضور اجتماعی در محیط‌های اجتماعی و برخط فراگیری زبان انگلیسی}, abstract_fa = {امروزه، به لطف وجود فنآوری پیشرفته، به ویژه اینترنت، کانالهای ارتباطی در بین مردم سرتاسر جهان، بسیار گسترده شدهاند. در این میان، استفاده از اینترنت به منظور فراگیری زبان دوم بسیار رایج شده است. با این حال، بسیاری از برنامههای امروزی به منظور فراگیری زبان دوم توسط فنآوری به برقراری حس تعامل و حضور اجتماعی درخور نمیپردازند، که به خودی خود مانع از این میشود که زبانآموزان در فرایند یادگیری خود نقشی فعال ایفا کنند. در نتیجه، به نظر میرسد که این گونه برنامههای آموزشی، کماکان در دسته برنامههای رفتاری و ارتباطی طبقه بنده میشوند و به مرتبه بالاتر برنامههای یکپارچه که باعث ایجاد حس تعامل میشوند، نمیرسند. این پژوهش قصد دارد تا از طریق ایجاد حس حضور اجتماعی و بهینهسازی الگوهای تعاملی بین زبانآموزان، مراتب ایجاد یک اجتماع آموزشی یکپارچه برخط را فراهم نماید. در این پژوهش کیفی، در طول بیش از یک سال، پژوهشگران از طریق برگزاری 41 مصاحبه گروهی نیمه ساختاریافته که بر روی برنامههای اسکایپ و دیسکورد و در پایان کلاسهای مجازی تشکیل و ضبط گردید، از بازخورد 42 زبانآموز مشغول به تحصیل در وبلاگ اولین پژوهشگر در مورذ پرسشهای پژوهش مطلع گشتند. نتایج به دست آمده بیانگر این نکته بود که استفاده از یک برنامه آموزشی محتوا-محور که در آن زبانآموزان از طریق شرکت در فعالیت های غیرهمزمان و اعمال ارزبابی گروهی در فرمهای نظردهی و انجمنهای مجازی پیش از انجام مباحثات معنایی در هر کلاس همزمان امکان انتخاب و تولید محتوای درسی داشته باشند، باعث افزایش میزان حس تعامل و حضور اجتماعی در بین زبانآموزان میشود.}, keywords_fa = {حضور اجتماعی,ارزیابی گروهی,مباحثه معنایی,آموزش محتوا-محور}, url = {https://ilt.atu.ac.ir/article_8421.html}, eprint = {https://ilt.atu.ac.ir/article_8421_593e4f210dabd43d040b8cf855c40266.pdf} }
