Taking the cognitive and sociocultural paradigms into account, the aims of the current study are twofold: Firstly, it attempts to find if corrective feedback is effective in improving the linguistic accuracy of L2 learners' tense/aspect use in writing. Secondly, it tries to measure which feedback type (direct, indirect, and negotiated) has a more significant effect on the mentioned linguistic structures. Seventy-five pre-intermediate university EFL learners were selected and asked to participate in the study; they were randomly divided into direct, indirect, negotiated feedback groups, and a control group. During six-week sessions of providing feedback on tenses/aspects, the participants were required to write diary journals on their academic life. The direct and indirect groups received feedback on their diaries, having 10 minutes time in the class to observe the feedback. The negotiated feedback group received 10 minutes one-to-one contingent feedback on the errors. After comparing the four groups, the results showed that all the treatment groups did outperform the control group which indicated that feedback was effective. Moreover, the findings showed no significant difference among the feedback types. This implies that teachers can provide any of the feedback types for learners so far as tense/aspect errors are concerned in their writing.}, keywords = {Feedback types: direct, indirect, negotiate,writing,tense/aspect}, title_fa = {بررسی تاثیر بازخورد مستقیم، غیرمستقیم، و گفتگویی بر یادگیری زمان/وجه در مهارت های نوشتاری انگلیسی آموزان}, abstract_fa = {در مطالعات فراگیری زبان دوم بازخورد نوشتاری از زوایای گوناگون بررسی شده است (برای نمونه احمدیان و تاج ابادی، 2015؛ بیچنر و ناچ، 2010؛ فریس، 2006). پژوهش حاضر با توجه به رویکردهای شناختی و فرهنگی-اجتماعی، سعی دارد به دو سوال پاسخ دهد: 1. آیا بازخورد نوشتاری تاثیری بر رشد کاربرد زمان/وجه در متون فراگیران زبان دوم دارد، 2. کدام یک از بازخوردهای مستقیم، غیرمستقیم، و گفتگویی تاثیر بیشتری بر ساختارهای یادشده دارند. بر این هدف، 75 انگلیسی آموز در سطح زبانی پیش متوسط انتخاب شده و به صورت رندوم در سه گروه بازخورد های مستقیم، غیرمستقیم، و گفتگویی، و یک گروه کنترل تقسیم شدند. از گروه های آزمون خواسته شد تا درباره ی زندگی دانشگاهی خود خاطره نویسی کنند و پس از هر جلسه بازخوردهای مستقیم، غیرمستقیم، و گفتگویی روی زمان/وجه داده شد. گروه های بازخورد مستقیم و غیرمستقیم بازخورد مربوطه را روی خاطره های خود دریافت کردند و 10 دقیقه فرصت داشتند تا بازخوردها را ببینند. گروه بازخورد گفتگویی به مدت 10 دقیقه به صورت گفتگوی معلم-شاگرد بازخورد دریافت کردند. سپس گروه ها با هم مقایسه شدند. نتایج نشان داد که تمامی گروه های آزمایش در مقایسه با گروه کنترل پیشرفت بهتری داشتند، که می تواند نشان از تاثیر مثبت بازخورد باشد. همچنین، نتایج تفاوت معناداری بین بازخوردها در ارتباط با ساختار زمان/وجه نشان نداد. این بدان معناست که معلمین انگلیسی می توانند از هر سه نوع بازخورد، حداقل برای خطاهای زمان/وجه در نوشتار فراگیران، استفاده کنند.}, keywords_fa = {بازخورد مستقیم,بازخورد غیرمستقیم,بازخورد گفتگویی,نوشتار,زمان/وجه}, url = {https://ilt.atu.ac.ir/article_10840.html}, eprint = {https://ilt.atu.ac.ir/article_10840_4f44c0ebda360fa0a302b2d8d7cc9db1.pdf} }
